Virtual POS Terminal
BBVA's virtual POS Terminal is a system designed to operate with complete security during online sales transactions, as follows:
A. It will attempt to contact the card-issuing bank to request authentication of the cardholder (identity verification) before requesting the corresponding authorisation. This ensures that only the genuine cardholder, who owns the card, can use it.
B. It implements SSL across all communications, preventing information from being intercepted by third parties. Therefore, confidentiality is guaranteed in all communications established during the transaction.
C. Card details are not recorded by the merchant, preventing this information from subsequently being used fraudulently by third parties. (The best way for a merchant to safeguard sensitive customer information is NOT to have it). This information is securely stored by the Virtual POS Terminal, which will provide it to the payment system whenever necessary (for example, when issuing a refund).
The Virtual POS Terminal is updated with the latest secure payment versionsestablished by international organisations.
How it works.
1. Géneros de Punto Rompoda, S.L. provides the Virtual POS Terminal with the transaction details: the amount, currency, identifier and merchant name.
2. The Virtual POS Terminal asks the customer for their card number and expiry date.
3. The Virtual POS Terminal contacts the financial institution that issued the card.
4. The issuing bank requests authentication from the customer (or uses the method agreed with the customer).
5. The Virtual POS Terminal requests authorisation from the issuing bank through the standard payment processing channels.
Bank transfer

You can select payment by bank transfer during the purchase process. At this point, the system will remind you of the account details and account holder’s name required to make the payment:

You can make the payment from your bank to this account, indicating the reference code shown on the order, or make a deposit directly into the same account at any BBVA branch.
Once your bank transfer has been received, your order will continue to be processed. Please note that bank transfer payments are verified manually, so some time may pass between making the payment and receiving confirmation.
